How to Find the Tracking Number for Your Online Purchase

Find your package's tracking number from Amazon or other online stores and add it to your Savo Store order.

Written by Sidney

When you purchase an item from an online store and use Savo Store's Shipping Only service, you must provide the tracking number assigned to your package by the seller or shipping carrier.

With Shipping Only, you purchase items directly from online stores and have them delivered to our U.S. warehouse. You must add the tracking number provided by the seller or shipping carrier to your Savo Store order so we can identify your package when it arrives.

Where Can I Find My Tracking Number?

1. Check Your Shipping Confirmation Email

Once the seller ships your order, they will usually send you a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking information.

To find it:

  1. Open the email account you used when placing your order.

  2. Search for emails containing phrases such as "Your order has shipped," "Shipping confirmation," or "Track your package."

  3. Open the shipping confirmation email.

  4. Look for the tracking number or a link labeled "Track Package."

Note: Your order confirmation email may not contain a tracking number. Tracking information is typically provided after the seller ships your order.

2. Check Your Order History on the Seller's Website

You can also find your tracking number by signing in to the website where you purchased your item.

  1. Sign in to your account on the seller's website.

  2. Navigate to Orders, Order History, or Your Purchases.

  3. Select the order you want to ship through Savo Store.

  4. Look for an option such as Track Package, Track Shipment, or View Shipping Details.

  5. Copy the tracking number provided.

The exact steps may vary depending on the seller.

3. Check the Carrier's Tracking Information

If the seller provides a tracking link, open it to view the shipment details.

Common shipping carriers include:

  • UPS

  • FedEx

  • USPS

  • DHL

  • Amazon Logistics

  • OnTrac

The tracking number is usually displayed on the carrier's tracking page.

What's the Difference Between an Order Number and a Tracking Number?

An order number identifies your purchase with the seller, while a tracking number identifies the package being transported by the shipping carrier.

Order Number

Tracking Number

Issued when you place an order

Usually issued when your order ships

Identifies your purchase with the seller

Identifies the package being shipped

Used for customer service, returns, and purchase records

Used to track the package's delivery

Cannot normally be used to track a shipment

Used by Savo Store to identify your incoming package

Important: When registering your package with Savo Store, enter the carrier's tracking number, not the seller's order number.

What If My Tracking Number Is Not Available?

If you cannot find a tracking number, your order may not have shipped yet.

We recommend that you:

  1. Check the shipping status in your account on the seller's website.

  2. Check your email for a shipping confirmation, including your spam or junk folder.

  3. Contact the seller and request the tracking number if the order has already shipped.

Once the seller provides the tracking number, you can use it to register your package with Savo Store.

What If My Order Has Multiple Tracking Numbers?

Some sellers ship items from the same order in separate packages. In such cases, each package may have its own tracking number.

If your order has multiple tracking numbers, add each tracking number to your Savo Store order.

This helps us identify each package when it arrives at our U.S. warehouse.

How Do I Add My Tracking Number to Savo Store?

Once you have your tracking number:

  1. Sign in to your Savo Store account.

  2. Create a new Shipping Only Order, or open an existing eligible request.

  3. Enter the tracking number provided by the seller or shipping carrier.

  4. Complete the required package information and save your request.

Registering your tracking number allows Savo Store to associate the incoming package with your shipping request.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use my Amazon order number instead of a tracking number?

No. Amazon order numbers and package tracking numbers serve different purposes. Open Your Orders on Amazon, select the relevant order, and choose Track Package to find the tracking information.

What if my tracking number starts with TBA?

Tracking numbers beginning with TBA are commonly used by Amazon Logistics. You can enter the TBA tracking number when registering your package with Savo Store.

What if the seller says my package was delivered, but it is not showing in my Savo Store account?

First, check your Savo Store account to see whether the package has been marked as received.

If it is not showing as received, contact our support team with the tracking number so we can escalate the issue for further investigation.

Who should I contact if the seller has not provided a tracking number?

Contact the seller directly. The seller is responsible for providing shipping information and confirming which carrier is handling your package.
