Savo Store offers Next-Day Door Delivery to your address anywhere in Kenya. This means your shipment is delivered on the next business day after it is dispatched from our Nairobi warehouse. This article explains how to select Next-Day Door Delivery, what to expect, and how delivery fees are calculated.

đŸš« Important: Next-Day Door Delivery is not a same-day delivery service. Delivery is completed on the next business day after your shipment is dispatched from our Nairobi warehouse.


Choosing Delivery

You must select your preferred delivery method when creating your order in your Savo Store account.
You can choose between:

  • Pick Up at our Nairobi collection point (along Mombasa Road)

  • Next-Day Door Delivery to your preferred address anywhere in Kenya

If you select Next-Day Door Delivery, we will schedule and route your package accordingly—this cannot be changed later.


Delivery Partners & Process

We work with vetted local courier and freight companies—including Fargo Courier—to deliver your packages safely and efficiently.

We select the delivery provider based on:

  • The size and weight of your package

  • Your location within Kenya

Delivery Timelines

  • Nairobi: Next business day after your shipment is dispatched from our Nairobi warehouse.

  • Other cities: Next business day or within 1–2 business days, depending on distance.


Delivery Costs

Next-Day Door Delivery fees are charged based on chargeable weight, which is the higher of your shipment’s actual weight or volumetric weight.

We offer a flat rate for local delivery across Kenya:

  • Delivery charges are calculated based on the chargeable weight of your shipment.

  • These fees are included in your invoice and paid together with your U.S. to Kenya shipping charges.


Important: Delivery Fees Are Final

Local delivery fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

If you select Next-Day Door Delivery and later decide to pick up your order instead:

  • The delivery fee cannot be removed from your invoice or refunded

  • The fee cannot be transferred to a different order

Why This Policy Exists:

  • Delivery is scheduled in advance, often before your order departs the U.S.

  • Delivery and pickup orders are sorted and processed separately upon arrival in Kenya

  • Orders meant for delivery may be sent directly to:

    • A local delivery holding warehouse, or

    • A partner courier’s hub

  • Re-routing your order back to our Nairobi pickup point will incur additional logistical costs. This is why these charges are non-refundable.


Pick Up Option

If you’d prefer not to have your order delivered, you can opt to pick it up instead—pickup is always available as an alternative. We have a convenient pickup point in Nairobi located on Road C, just behind Mombasa Road.

Our Nairobi warehouse is open Monday to Friday 9 AM to 4 PM and Saturday from 9 AM to 12.30 PM. We are closed on Sundays and all major public holidays.

Q. Can I change from pickup to Next-Day Door Delivery or Next-Day Door Delivery to pick up after my order has shipped to Kenya?

A. Yes. You can request to change your delivery method, but any delivery fees already invoiced cannot be removed from the invoice, refunded or transferred. See our policy and the reasons behind this above.

Q. Are delivery fees refundable or transferable?

A. No. Once you select door delivery, this is final. If you later decide to pick up your order instead, the fee cannot be removed from your invoice, refunded or transferred to another shipment. Delivery fees apply only to the specific order they were paid for.

Q. What happens if I’m not available during delivery?

A. Our courier partner will attempt redelivery. You may be contacted to reschedule.

Q. Do I need to schedule a pickup appointment?

A. No appointment is required. Once you receive confirmation that your shipment has arrived at our Nairobi pickup point, you can collect your package during regular business hours.

Q. Can I pick up someone else's package on their behalf?

A. Yes. The package owner must notify us in advance and authorize you to collect it. You’ll need to present a valid ID and the order reference when picking up the package.

Q. Can I combine multiple orders into one delivery?

A. No. Each order is processed and invoiced separately. Local delivery fees apply per order and cannot be combined across shipments.
