When you use Savo Store’s Buy & Ship service, we help you purchase items from U.S. sellers and handle delivery to Kenya. This guide explains each status you might see in your dashboard, what it means, and whether you need to take action.


Buy & Ship Order Status Definitions

The statuses below are listed in the general order they occur. Not all orders will pass through every step (for example, some may be cancelled early), but this reflects the typical customer journey.

1. Awaiting Quote

  • Meaning: You've submitted a Buy & Ship order and our team is reviewing it to provide a price quote.

  • Action Needed: None — wait for the quote.

2. Quote for Purchase

  • Meaning: We’ve reviewed your order and shared a quote with you for the cost of purchasing the item.

  • Action Needed: Review the quote carefully and complete the payment to confirm your order.

3. Information Needed

  • Meaning: We’re missing some key details needed to proceed (e.g., product link, quantity, variant).

  • Action Needed: Edit your order to provide the missing information to continue.

4. Payment Received

  • Meaning: We’ve received your payment and will proceed to purchase your item(s).

  • Action Needed: None — we’ll update you when the order is placed.

5. Order Purchased

  • Meaning: We’ve successfully placed the order with the seller.

  • Action Needed: None — wait for tracking updates.

6. Shipping Fee Invoiced

  • Meaning: Your order has been received at our U.S. warehouse, processed, and a shipping invoice has been generated.

  • Action Needed: Review and pay your shipping invoice.

7. Order Arrived

  • Meaning: Your package has reached our Kenya warehouse.

  • Action Needed: If you selected pickup, you can now collect your package from the Kenya warehouse. If you chose delivery, please ensure someone is available to receive it.

8. Dispatched for Local Delivery

  • Meaning: Your package has left our Kenya warehouse and is on the way to your local address.

  • Action Needed: Ensure someone is present at the delivery location to receive the package.

9. Order Delivered

  • Meaning: Your package has been successfully delivered.

  • Action Needed: None.

10. Order Cancelled

  • Meaning: Your order was cancelled, usually due to missing information, non-payment, or a customer request.

  • Action Needed: Contact support if you’re unsure why.

Q. Why is my order stuck in 'Awaiting Quote'?
A. This means our team hasn’t completed the quote yet — either due to high volume or missing information. If it’s been more than 2 business days, reach out for an update.

Q. What if I need to edit my order after getting a quote?
A. You can open the order in your dashboard to make changes before payment.

Q. Can I cancel after paying?
A. If we haven’t yet placed the order with the seller, cancellation may be possible. Contact support immediately to check.

Q. What happens if my item is out of stock?
A. We’ll notify you if a product becomes unavailable after payment and offer a refund or substitution.

Q. Do I get tracking updates once the order is purchased?
A. Yes. Once the seller ships the item, we’ll update your order with tracking info if available.

Q. Is shipping invoiced separately from product cost?
A. Yes. Product cost is billed first. Once the item reaches our warehouse, a separate shipping invoice is generated.
