With our Buy & Ship service, we handle the entire process for you. We take care of both purchasing and shipping your items to you.

Savo Store’s Buy & Ship service is designed to simplify your shopping experience by taking care of everything from purchasing to delivering your items right to your doorstep in Kenya. Whether you're ordering a single item or multiple products, we purchase all items for you and deliver them securely, without any hassle.

You must have a Savo Store account to use our Buy & Ship service. Click on the button below to create an account if you don't already have one.

How it Works

Step 1: You Request a Quote

After creating your account, you can easily request a quote by providing details of the items you want to purchase. Click here to request a quote.

Step 2: You make payment

Shortly after requesting a quote, you will receive an invoice with the cost of purchasing the items. If you wish to proceed, you'll be required to pay the invoice amount either via M-Pesa or bank deposit/transfer.

Step 3: We Purchase Your Order

Once the payment is received, your items will be purchased by our U.S. shopping team. We will give you a delivery timeline that includes the arrival date of your goods at our US warehouse, the dispatch date to Kenya, and the estimated arrival date in Kenya.

Step 4: We Ship and Deliver

Once your goods arrive at our US warehouse, they’ll be shipped to Kenya. Air shipping takes 7 to 15 business days, while ocean shipping takes 60 to 90 days. Upon arrival in Nairobi, we'll invoice you for shipping costs. You can either pick up your order from our Nairobi pick-up point or have it delivered anywhere in Kenya.

Buy & Ship Pricing

Transparency is central to our business. A Buy & Ship invoice usually has multiple line items and therefore it is important to understand each one of them before placing an order. Here’s a detailed breakdown of the costs you’ll see on your Buy & Ship invoice, along with the payment schedule for each cost.

Cost of Items - This is the total cost of the items you want to purchase. It is paid directly to the seller of the items you wish to purchase.

Total Service Cost - This is a fee paid to Savo Store for handling and facilitating this service. It is charged at 10% of the Cost of Item(s). This fee also covers any U.S. sales taxes charged by the seller, as well as shipment protection against loss or damage for your order while on transit from our US office to our Nairobi office.

Total Shipping Cost - This is the total transportation cost of your order from our US warehouse to our Nairobi warehouse. See the shipping charges. Once your order arrives in Nairobi, we will weigh and measure its dimensions and then bill you for the shipping cost.

US local shipping - While most online sellers offer free shipping, some sellers charge shipping fees to ship items within the U.S. If the seller charges a fee to ship to our U.S. address, this fee will be added to your invoice when we purchase your order.

Door Delivery Cost - This is the cost of delivering your order from our Nairobi warehouse to your doorstep. You can either pick up your order from our Nairobi pick-up point, or you can request us to deliver it to you wherever you are in Kenya. Click here for details of the delivery charges.

VAT (16%) - VAT is calculated as a percentage of the Total Service Cost + Total Shipping Cost charged by Savo Store.

Payment Schedule

Buy & Ship orders are paid for in two separate payments. The first payment is due when you place your order. The 2nd payment is due upon arrival of your order in Kenya.

First Payment: When you place an order with us, we will initially request payment of the Cost of Items, Total Service Cost and VAT at 16% of the total service cost.

Second Payment: Once your order arrives in Kenya, we will weigh and measure its dimensions and bill you the Total Shipping Cost as well as 16% VAT of the total shipping cost.

What are the Shipping Charges?

Air Shipping Costs - We charge $15 per kilogram, calculated based on the actual weight or volumetric weight of the package—whichever is higher. The minimum air shipping charge is $15. Click here for more details on air shipping costs.

These rates include customs clearance charges.

Return Policy

Before placing an order, please review our return policy. Due to the risks associated with purchasing used/refurbished goods, goods from eBay, goods from third-party market places, or goods from any unauthorized sellers/dealers, we do not accept returns of such purchases under any circumstances.
