Shipping goods from the US to Kenya can be a complex process, but with Savo Store's reliable logistics services, it's easier than ever. Let's explore how you, as a US-based customer, can leverage Savo Store's expertise to meet your shipping needs.

You must have a Savo Store account to ship with us. Click on the button below to create an account if you don't already have one.

Below is a breakdown of the process as well as everything you need to know.

Our US Address

You can ship packages to our US address from UPS/Fedex/USPS, or you can also shop online and use our US address at checkout. To get our US address, log in to your Savo Store account, and then click on this link.

Now that you have our address, you can ship packages to our US warehouse.

The Process

Once a package has been shipped to our warehouse, click here to provide us with:

  1. The tracking number

  2. The contact information of the recipient in Kenya

  3. The shipping method (air or ocean)

After we receive your package at our US warehouse, we will notify you and send you an invoice. Payments can be made by debit or credit card through your Savo Store account.

We will then ship the package and then contact the recipient upon arrival in Kenya.

Shipping Costs

For air freight, we charge $15/KG based on the actual or volumetric weight of the package - whichever is higher. This rate is inclusive of customs clearance costs. The minimum charge is $15.

For ocean freight, we charge $30/Cubic Foot with a minimum charge of $90. This rate is inclusive of customs clearance costs.

Shipment Protection

Savo Store offers shipment protection for your goods while they are on transit to Kenya. The cost of shipment protection is 5% of the value of your shipment, with a minimum charge of $5.00. This protects your shipment against loss or damage while in transit from our U.S. warehouse to our Nairobi warehouse. For more information on Shipment Protection, click here.

Delivery Timeline

Air freight shipments are delivered within 7 to 15 business days from the ship date. For more details on air freight shipping schedules, cut-offs, and delivery timelines, click here.
