Our Oregon warehouse provides clients with an additional U.S. address option when placing orders. This location is ideal for fulfilling both air and ocean freight shipments efficiently. However, it has a few key differences and limitations that you should be aware of before using it.
Purpose of the Oregon Address
The Oregon warehouse is designed to help customers save money by avoiding U.S. sales tax. Unlike most U.S. states, Oregon does not charge sales tax on purchases. This means items shipped to this address are not subject to the additional costs typically added at checkout in other states.
What is U.S. sales tax?
It's a tax applied to goods at the point of sale in most U.S. states, similar to VAT (Value Added Tax) in Kenya. While rates vary, it typically ranges between 5% and 10% depending on the state.
For example, if you purchase a $500 laptop and ship it to an agent in a state such as New York, you could pay around $40–$50 in sales tax. By using savo Store's Oregon address, you avoid this entirely — a direct savings to your total cost.
Minimum Charge Requirements
Please note the minimum thresholds for shipments from the Oregon warehouse:
Air Shipping: 3 KGs minimum ($45.00)
Ocean Shipping: 5 cubic feet minimum ($150.00)
Shipments that do not meet these minimums will still be processed, but the customer will be charged the applicable minimum shipping cost — $45.00 for air or $150.00 for ocean.
Delivery Timelines from Oregon to Kenya
Air Shipping: Estimated delivery time is 10 to 15 business days from the date of shipment.
Ocean Shipping: Estimated delivery time is 75 to 120 calendar days from the shipment date.
Oregon Shipping Schedule
Air Freight: Departs weekly on Wednesdays.
Cut-off: Items must be received by the Thursday of the previous week to be included in the next shipment
💡Important Note regarding Air shipping from Oregon
All items received from Monday to Thursday during a given week will be shipped the following Wednesday.
Ocean Freight: Departs every two months.
Cut-off: Items must be received by the Friday before the scheduled container departure.
Important Oregon Warehouse Guidelines
Returns Not Supported
The Oregon warehouse does not accept or process returns. If an item arrives and you later decide to return it, this will not be possible.
Labeling Requirements
All packages must include your full name and the word "Savo" on the shipping label.

Packages missing this information or formatted incorrectly may be misdelivered.
Address Formatting
Always copy and paste the address line to avoid any errors. Packages with incomplete or altered address lines are more likely to be lost or misrouted.
Our Oregon Address is for Ship Individually orders only
The Oregon address is designated for Ship Individually orders only. Any orders requiring consolidation should be shipped through our California warehouse.
No Customer Drop-Offs
Please do not visit or attempt to drop off items at the Oregon warehouse. Only packages sent via courier or mail will be accepted.
