We’re making two important updates to our Shipping Only service. These changes will apply to all Shipping Only orders created on or after August 18, 2026.
These updates apply exclusively to our Shipping Only service. Buy & Ship orders will not be affected.
1. Verify & Consolidate Storage Fee
Shipping Only orders using the Verify & Consolidate (V&C) processing method will incur a $5.00 storage fee per Savo Store order.
Why is there a storage fee for Verify & Consolidate orders?
Processing a Verify & Consolidate order involves several steps before your shipment is ready for dispatch.
As packages assigned to your order arrive at our U.S. warehouse, we securely store them while we wait for the remaining packages in the order to arrive.
Once all packages have been received, they are retrieved from storage and transferred to our shipping team for verification, consolidation, and final processing.
Because V&C orders require additional warehouse storage and handling, the $5.00 storage fee helps cover the added processing involved.
Which orders are subject to the storage fee?
The $5.00 storage fee applies only to Shipping Only orders using the Verify & Consolidate processing method.
The fee does not apply to:
Ship Individually (Immediate Dispatch) orders
Buy & Ship orders
You may continue using the Ship Individually processing method without incurring the $5.00 V&C storage fee.
2. Shipment Protection Will Be Required on All Shipping Only Orders
Shipment Protection will be mandatory for all Shipping Only orders created on or after August 18, 2026.
Why are we making Shipment Protection mandatory?
International shipments move through multiple facilities, carriers, and handling points before reaching their destination. While we take every reasonable step to ensure shipments are handled safely, unexpected events can still occur during transit.
Making Shipment Protection standard on every Shipping Only order ensures that every customer has an added financial safeguard for their goods.
Our goal is to provide greater peace of mind by making Shipment Protection a standard part of shipping with Savo Store.
How much does Shipment Protection cost?
Shipment Protection will be charged at 4% of the declared shipment value, with a minimum charge of $4.00.
When do these changes take effect?
Both updates will apply to Shipping Only orders created on or after August 18, 2026.
Orders created before August 18, 2026 will not be affected by these changes.
